The French perfume house Parfums de Marly dedicates its release to one of the most iconic pages of French history – the time when Louis XV ruled the country. The king was a great connoisseur of luxury, expensive clothes and thoroughbred horses, so the brand’s perfumes always feature a logo depicting noble horses.
Parfums de Marly Sedley is a classic woody-fougere formula, fresh, long-lasting and noble. The fragrance was created by perfumer Olivier Cresp. At the beginning, he gave the fragrance a special strength of sound, complementing it with a juicy accord of lemon, grapefruit, bergamot and mandarin. In the heart, lavender sounds in full force, under the influence of geranium, incense and rosemary. Usually, the ambroxan molecule only enhances the sound of the main components, and in the base of Parfums de Marly Sedley it took the leading place against the background of vetiver, patchouli, white cedar and cashmere.
The aroma is slightly sweet, with animal tones that stand out in particular.
